AIC Abbey Wood organises Spring Tea Party for Seniors in May and Autumn Tea Party for Seniors in October every year.
The Parish Social Committee organises Valentine's Quiz Night in February, Easter Lunch in April, International Day in June, Parish Summer BBQ in August, Parish get-together to start the harvest season in September, Christmas Bazaar in November and Christmas Ball in December. The Social Committee Meeting is scheduled on a Tuesday as needed.
The Parish Hall is also rented out to parishioners and the local community of Abbey Wood and Thamesmead throughout the year. The hall also serves other activities such as baptism/First holy communion/confirmation reception, group meetings, or for Wake. The Guild of St. Anthony of Padua holds DEVOTION/PRAYER Meeting every Tuesday of the month from 7pm @ St. Benet's RC Church.

The Vincentian Mission appeal will be held on the weekend of 30th and 31st May 2026 to raise funds for the training of Seminarians.
